Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

• Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
• Leading the QA team in designing QA test procedures.
• Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
• Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
• Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
• Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.
• Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market.
• Responding to requests from the design team and management.

Job Specification

• 5+ years of proven work experience in software quality assurance like designing, creating, analyzing, planning, running and estimating test plans and test cases.
• Bachelors or Master of Technology in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent course.
• Experience in Software Testing & Quality assurance of server-side applications.
• Involved in test planning, test management & test coordination.
• Experience in Test Effort estimation using the Use Case Point analysis approach
• Experience in server-side testing.
• Experience in scrum and agile methodology.
• Extensive work experience in different types of testing e.g. Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration testing.
• Proficient in Manual Testing of Web applications.
• Preparing Test Plan, Test case Design, Execution, and Review.
• Working Knowledge of automation tools like (Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Django Tests, and Nightwatch).
• Experience in Defect tracking tools (LACK, JIRA, Bugzilla, GITLAB).
• Experience working with Postman and other API testing tools.
• Ability to manage projects and lead the QA team.
• Proficient in MS Office software.
• Handling multiple assignments simultaneously
